Nature and Historic Sites Oze Area
SMR

The Orange-yellow daylilies celebrate the arrival of Summer in Oze. The bright yellow color of the large flowered daylilies stands out in the green summer wetlands of Oze.
The daylily flowers live for only one day; seven flowers open at one time from a root every morning and fade by the early evening.
Nikko Kisuge (Orange-yellow day lily) has a special meaning in the flower language--‘person with peace of mind/ a brand new day’. (Best time to see: Mid. July through Early Aug.)
