Mt. Hiuchigatake is often viewed as the icon of Oze for being the highest mountain in the region. It is also known as the newest volcanic mountain in Oze. It is the highest mountain in the northern Tohoku region of Japan, and boasts a clear unobstructed 360-degree panoramic view on sunny days.
